This 8000 square foot modern mansion was MODD’s submission for a design competition in the summer of 2009.
The competition brief was as follows:
Essentials:
7,000 – 8,000 interior square feet spread over 2 or 3 floors (including guest and employee quarters, but not including garage space). Maximization of ‘every inch of view’.
Master Bedroom & Master Bathroom
3 – Family Bedrooms with bathrooms
½ ‘public’ bathroom ‘downstairs’
½ ‘outside’ bathroom with shower & toilet for beach/pool goers
Leisure/living room
Fun/Recreation/Game Room
Kitchen with Pantry and ‘breakfast nook’
Home Gym Approx. 300 Sq. Ft.
Utility Room (washer, dryer etc)

Master bath has ‘view’, foyer, and ‘private’ enclosed toilet/bidet/urinal
